Through Sacred Spaces, she seeks to encourage people to encounter the grace and love of Christ while fostering healing, understanding, and genuine community between the church and the LGBTQ+ community.
Michel Williams
Co-Director of Sacred Spaces
As the parent of a gay son, Michel is passionate about creating Jesus-centered spaces where LGBTQ+ people and their families can encounter belonging, honest faith, and compassionate community, while helping build bridges between the church and the LGBTQ+ community.
Danica Dvorachek
Pastor of Justice
Danica is a bisexual woman who rebuilt her faith brick by brick during her twenties. By day, she works in finance-tech; by calling, she fights for a church that actually looks like the kingdom it claims to proclaim – one where justice isn't reserved for the few but pursued for everyone. Danica believes that building bridges between groups historically at odds is some of the most important work there is, and that it takes equal measures of grace, education, respect, and patience to do it well. A voracious reader drawn to thinkers like Mehrsa Baradaran, Beth Allison Barr, Brené Brown, Malcolm Gladwell, and Adam Grant, she is endlessly curious about how systems are built, how stories get told, and how people change. She is here for the hard conversations, the honest reckoning, and the audacious belief that the church can do better - and should.
Dora Carson
Board Member
In addition to her membership in the board, Dora is an active participant in the weekly Home Group, a place that has deeply nurtured her sense of connection and belonging. As a sapphic on the ace spectrum who came out later in life, she cherishes the freedom to move at her own pace in her journey with Jesus. Dora is passionate about creating and supporting spaces where all can experience love, acceptance, and spiritual growth.
